Lucie Boshier is anything but minimalist. Colourful, sexy and fun are just a few of the words that spring to mind when viewing a Lucie Boshier collection.

After training for four years under New Zealand fashion icon, Patrick Steel, whom she met while studying at the prestigious Whitecliffe Collage of Art & Design in 1999, Boshier opened her eponymous boutique in Kingsland, Auckland 2004. Kingsland was the perfect platform to launch the debut Lucie Boshier store. The creative hub of musicians, artists and free thinkers of Kingsland complemented the expressive and quirky collections that Lucie continued to create. Lucie gained a switched on following and fan base of the underground fashion conscious. The word soon spread about the floaty, beaded, silk garments that Lucie was making from the back of house and she began to dress celebrities for media events and red carpet gigs.
